PSIMA as a national body representing Psychology in Malaysia has been committed to forging relationships with the international Psychology community. Current initiatives include:

  • PSIMA is a Member of the IUPSyS (International Union of Psychological Societies)

  • PSIMA is a founding Member of ARUPS (ASEAN Regional Union of Psychological Societies) ARUPS currently comprises of Psychology Associations from the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. ARUPS holds conferences every 2 years, the next being in Bali, 2017. In 2015 ARUPS formed a task force to explore the formation of an ASEAN registry of psychologists. This effort is currently ongoing.

The Malaysian Psychological Association (PSIMA) and HELP University invites you to submit research, proposals for symposia and workshops for the 2017 Malaysian International Psychology Conference (MIPC).

This year’s conference theme is ‘The Psychology of Peace’, and will feature keynote addresses and presentations revolving around diversity, harmony, unity and ethnic relations.
